Bootsplash

To install the bootsplash on your computer follow these instructions:
First you need grub boot loader (most linux distributions use grub as default). See grub page to get info on install.
If installed then it is easy, copy the xpm file into your /boot/grub folder and add at the top of the config file /boot/grub/menu.lst the following lines:

On most computers it looks like:
splashimage=(hd0,0)/boot/grub/name_of_splash.xpm

Just reboot and look to your nice new splash.
